Heather Lose | On the air: Weekends, Fill-in DJ Title: DJ Bio: Native Nashvillians have been listening to Heather Lose for years! She began her radio career back in the late ’80s, on Lightning 100's predecessor,Rebel 100. She left Nashville in 1989 for Los Angeles, where she spent several years at HITS magazine and in the A&R Department at Chameleon Records. She returned to Lighting 100 in ’92 and then in1994, helped launch Lightning 100's late sister station Thunder 94,serving as Music Director as well as on-air. After a hiatus to workon her Master's degree in Mass Communications and Media Arts at S.I.U.- Carbondale, fall 2008 found Heather once again on Lightning 100 ,happy to come back and fill-in on weekends and vacations. Heather also now owns her own graphic design business and teaches at the Art Institute of Tennessee Nashville. In her spare time you’ll find her out in the clubs, listening to music, or making pictures somewhere with one of her trusty old Nikon film cameras. |
