Ken Austin 
| About Ken Ken grew up in Southern California, studied as an undergraduate at Long Beach State, and attended the University of Southern California for graduate school. While at Long Beach State, Ken played Division I Water Polo and began his professional music career as a drummer. An executive position in the Music Industry brought Ken and his family to Nashville in the late '80s, and from there, Ken transitioned into radio. He has written and voiced well over 1,000 commercials, and there was even a brief stint of "On Air Personality" Talk Radio in his background at 1510 WLAC. Ken's wife is an elementary school teacher, his daughter is a new mom, and his son is currently a student at the University of Notre Dame.
He's a die-hard fan of the Nashville Predators, USC, Notre Dame, and Middle Tennessee State Football. Ken has also had the great pleasure of watching, in person, the greatest athlete of our time -Tiger Woods - win a major. Some of Ken`s favorite things: Playing Golf, Playing Water Polo with the Murfreesboro Water Polo Club, listening to good music (there are only two kinds of music--good and bad), cooking, and political analysis. |
